Live On!
I dreamed many dreams that never came true I’ve seen them vanish at dawn, But I’ve realized enough of my dreams, thank God To make me want to dream on.
I’ve prayed many prayers when no answer came, Though I waited patient and long; But answers have come to enough of my prayers To make me keep praying on.
I’ve trusted many a friend who failed And left me to weep alone; But I’ve found enough of my friends true blue To make me keep trusting on.
I’ve sown many seed that fell by the way For the birds to feed upon But I’ve held enough golden sheaves in my hands To make me keep sowing on.
I’ve drained the cup of disappointment and pain And gone many days without song, But I’ve sipped enough nectar from the roses of life To make me want to live on.

Children Learn By...
If a child lives with criticism, he learns to condemn. If a child lives with hostility, he learns to fight. If a child lives with ridicule, he learns to be shy. If a child lives with shame, he learns to feel guilty.
If a child lives with tolerance, he learns to be patient. If a child lives with encouragement, he learns confidence. If a child lives with praise, he learns to appreciate. If a child lives with fairness, he learns justice.
If a child lives with security, he learns to have faith. If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself. If a child lives with acceptance and friendship, He learns to find love in the world.

Only A Branch!
‘Tis only a little branch, A thing so fragile and weak, But that little branch hath a message true To give, could it only speak.
I'm only a little branch, I live by a life not mine, For the sap that flows through my tendrils small Is the life-blood of the Vine.
No power indeed have I The fruit of myself I bear, But since I'm part of the living Vine, Its fruitfulness I share.
Doest thou ask how I abide? How this life I can maintain? I am bound to the Vine by life's strong band, And I only need remain.
A life which is not my own, But another's life in me: This, then is the message the branch would speak, A message to thee and me."

Raised Up With Jesus!
"He has also raised us up with Jesus In the clouds to God's right hand; There we sit in heavenly places, There with Him in glory stand; Jesus reigns adored by angels; Man with God is on the throne; Mighty Lord, in Thine Ascension We by faith beheld our own."
Because Jesus ascended to heaven -- We shall also go to be with Him.

Step By Step
He does not lead me year by year Nor even day by day. But step by step my path unfolds; My Lord directs my way.
Tomorrow’s paths, I do not know. I only know this minute: But He will say, “This is the way. By faith now walk ye in it.”
And I am glad that it is so. Today’s enough to bear; And when tomorrow comes, His grace Shall far exceed its care.
What need to worry then, or fret? The God who gave His Son Holds all my moments in His hand And gives them, one by one.

What Can I Give Him?
"What can I give Him, poor as I am? If I were a sheperd, I would give Him a lamb; If I were a wise man, I would do my part. But what can I give Him? Give Him my heart!"
Have you made that gift to God?

Jim Died Today!
"Around the corner I have a friend In this great city that has no end; Yet days go by, and weeks rush on, And before I know it a year has gone.
And I never see my old friends face, For life is a swift and terrible race. He knows I like him just as well As in the days I rang his bell, And he rang mine. We were younger then, And now we're busy, tired men; Tired with playing a foolish game, Tired with trying to make a name.
'Tomorrow,' I say, I'll call on Jim, Just to show that I'm thinking of him.' But tomorrow comes, and tomorrow goes, And the distance between us grows and grows.
Around the corner -- and yet miles away... 'Here's a telegram, sir... Jim died today.'
And that's what we get, and deserve in the end -- Around the corner, a vanished friend."
We are moving too fast, even for friendship!

Spirit Power
Spiritual power is the endowment of the Holy Spirit. We are equipped to witness for Christ when we are quickened by the Holy Spirit.
" We want, O Lord, Thy power to know Before we forth to service go, Or else we serve in vain, We trust not human thought or might, Our souls are helpless for the fight Until Thy power we gain."
Jesus said, " Without me, you can do nothing."
The Bible says: " Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord."

Written In Red
In letters of crimson God wrote his love on a hillside so long, long ago.
For you and for me Jesus died and love’s greatest story was told. “I love you! I love you!” That’s what Calvary said. “I love you! I love you! I love you! written in red.”
